Prague has a very few places which are publically known without people realizing it. Almost every Czech knows the Elementary School film by Jan Svěrák. But only a few knows that it takes place at the foothill of the Bohdalec Hill. The new construction of three apartment houses and one multifunctional house are situated on the south slope of the Bohdalec Hill falling into the Michle cadastral district.
The construction environment is surrounded by various types of residential buildings. The north edge of the main location is formed by the existing high-rise apartment houses along V Dolině Street and row house buildings at Na Křivce Street. A block of rental apartment houses is located on the east border of the location, along Popovická Street. The south border of the location is formed by U Plynárny Street, with the original residential duplexes situated on the other side, located in the existing gas plant facility.
The traffic accessibility of the location using public transport is convenient for both the south and central part of the city. The stop of bus no. 188 and tram no. 11 are located in close proximity to U Plynárny Street ensuring a very quick connection to the city center without changing the transport means. The I.P. Pavlova metro station is at the most a 13 minute ride away, Muzeum station is 15 minutes away. Other metro stations (Pankrác, Strašnická, Roztyly, Opatov, and Flóra) are at the most 13 minutes away by bus or tram.

It is a trio of modern city apartment buildings completed by a conceptually uniform multifunctional building (2nd phase of construction). The number of floors in the individual buildings varies from 5 to 10 depending on the position of the individual buildings within the facility, because the individual terrain is characterized by a significant height differences. The individual buildings are therefore characterized by recessive floors imitating the terrain profile of the location.
A significant role in the buildings appearance is played by large glassed surfaces of French windows with a simply segmented façade and a lightly colored rendering completed by hot zinc coated locksmith products, such as balcony railings and railings of French windows. The structures ensure low level noise in apartments but allow full natural ventilation to play a significant role in completing the appearance of the buildings, especially on the south facades. These structures consist from a combination of glassed balconies and sound absorptive walls between the individual balconies. The construction system of all the buildings is steel concrete completed by some masonry the perimeter walls are ceramic bricks. The entire building is insulated using a contact heat insulation system with top layer of colored plaster on a silicate base to ensure thermal comfort.
Parking is in the A building located in the partially sunk underground floor. These parking places complete the parking in front of the building. The so called “parking plinth” has been created for parking in the other buildings, located between buildings B and C. There is a roofed parking garage on three floors creating a common communication core for the B and C buildings.
